ACHIEVEMENT
TESTING
Academic testing is required every year for high school students in their
freshmen and sophomore years. This would include, but is not limited to,
the Stanford , Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS & TAP) and CAT. For any new
students who have not been formally tested in the past two years, there will be
a required testing. Graduating seniors must score in the fiftieth
percentile and above to graduate.
Testing by CIAS Administration is administered every spring semester and in the
summer. Contact the school office for testing sources and facilities.
All graduating seniors in the Academic and College Preparatory Diploma Programs
are required to take at least one SAT and ACT before graduating from CIAS.
The CPT (Florida Entry Level Placement, the Common Placement Test) is the
admissions exam to dual enroll or enter Pensacola Junior College.
