Articles
HopeChest is primarily reader written, and we always welcome submissions. Our greatest ongoing need is for nonfiction with a personal touch, but we’re also glad to consider well-written short stories and original poetry. Please send only original, unpublished work and include a short bio and picture of yourself. At this time, we cannot offer payment for articles we print. However, we very much appreciate your willingness to use your writing talent to glorify God and encourage others through HopeChest!

Interviews
Interviews are always greatly enjoyed by our readers. If you'd like to be considered for an interview, please send a letter briefly introducing yourself and your family. We so appreciate your willingness to give us a glimpse in your heart and life.

Commencements
Another HopeChest favorite has been the Commencement feature, profiling young ladies' journeys since high school graduation. If you have graduated and would consider sharing about your schooling experience (especially high school), what you've done since graduation, who/what influenced you to make that decision, and what the Lord has taught you, please contact us.

Other Articles
Please send submissions for different columns on separate sheets of paper for ease of filing. If you send photos which you would like us to return, please note that on the back of the photo and enclose an SASE. Also, remember that if you're under eighteen, we need a parent's signature in order to print your address. Though we endeavor to retain each author’s unique writing style and message, HopeChest does reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, suitability, and grammatical correctness.

Writer's Guidelines
We've compiled a list of writer's guidelines to offer further tips and hints about writing for HopeChest. Please include a SASE when requesting a copy:

Statement of Faith

Before submitting an article to HopeChest, please make sure your beliefs are in agreement with our statement of faith. Your writing should point its readers to Jesus Christ and His Word—not themselves, a certain belief or denomination, or a set of rules. We endeavor to encourage beautiful girlhood, noble womanhood, godly motherhood, purity, holiness, and femininity through HopeChest.

We Believe…
In only one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Dt. 6:4. Mt. 28:19-20. Jn. 1:1-3,14. Jn. 10:30. Jn. 16:7-14.)

The Bible, both the Old Testament and the New Testament in their original forms, to be the inspired Word of God—infallible, inerrant, and complete—the one supreme authority for the Christian’s faith and practice. (2 Tim. 3:16. 2 Pet. 1:20-21.)

In Jesus Christ's virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His substitutionary and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection and ascension, and in His personal return. (Jn. 1:1-3. Jn. 3:16. Lk. 1:35. Acts 1:9-11. Rom. 8:34. 1 Cor. 15:3,4. 1 Jn. 2:2. 1 Jn. 3:5.)

Man, sinful in nature and act, can be saved from the just condemnation of God only by faith in the power of Jesus’ death and resurrection, and by regeneration by the Holy Spirit. (Jn. 3:3-7. Acts 4:12. Rom. 3:21-24. Eph. 2:1-3,12. Ti. 3:3-7.)
