Hi All, Just wanted to say that I just found out about the magazine thru our homeschool group. I will be subscribing to the magazine. I was interested in knowing if there are any mother out there who would be interested in a pen-pal? I am a mother of two ages 9 girl and 13 boy. Hello, I am an old subscriber and hopefully I will be resubscribing soon. Gotta talk my fiance into getting it for me. I thought it was really cool to see the baby section of the site. I am currently the mother of one 3 year old and another on the way. Both girls. And my fiance has a 18 year old daughter from a previous marriage. I have been a career woman... if you even call it that for the past 4 years. When my dad had a breakdown and kicked me out of the home. So, I have been struggling and it has been hard, but I have met a wonderful man that believes that a woman's place is in the home. So, I'm very very happy now. Oh, I saw on the baby page these couples whose last names were Snyder and Pierce. And they were from OH. I think this is quite coinsidental because my finace is related to people of both sirnames and my daughter actually is to. I won't be till I get married. But, it was rather interesting to see that!
I used to subcribe to HopeChest about 5 years ago when the Meyer girls were still editing it, and really enjoyed it then. I always wondered what would happen if they became too busy for it. It looks like you girls are doing a wonderful job! Blessings to you!

I havn't actually gotten a subscribtion yet, but i've been going on this website and wanna say I AM DEFINITLY GETTING ONE!! CommentsHI!!!!! I was so excited to find this website! I used to get HopeChest when I was a teen! I loved it then, but we stopped subscribing in '98! HOW COOL to see what's happened to some of the girls whose names were like familiar friends, even though I didn't know them personally! For instance, Syke Erickson is now married!!!!! :) (so am I!!!! a month after her!! congrats, Skye!!) I had so many penpals, and friends from HopeChest. I had spent this past week reading my old issues (from vol. 4 #2 all the way to vol. 6) and was wishing for a subscription. My husband said it seemed to uplift my spirits so much, that we'll be subscribing to it! Yay!!! I also want to thank you girls so much for striving to live a life with a higher standard. God's been convicting me though the Bible, and some of the old articles about music, and clothes have helped me and I am praying about major changes in my life! I feel like I'm in the midst of a "cleansing" process.. and hopefully being made a more beautiful woman of God. I would love to chat, so email me! I don't check email often, so I'll send my address... I'm praying the Lord will send me some good Christian young women my age and maybe newly married like me! to help encourage me... for I don't know anyone in my community like that!! God Bless! CommentsThis website is definitly a blessing to me. The graphics are so pretty and feminine. :-) I like girly things like that. I am a fellow sister in Christ coming to you from Lawton Oklahoma. I have been married for 3 years and have been a keeper at home for a year and a half. It's such a blessing! I will be subscribing to your magazine hopefully soon if finances permit. For some reason it is hard to live in Lawton. They are really money hungry and greedy. :-( But there is always hope in Jesus that things will change for the better. CommentsThere's an interesting story about how I came to this website... a friend recommended HopeChest magazine to me. Well, at this website: http://www.achristianhome.com/Just_For_Young_Ladies/justforyoungladies.htm I found an address for HopeChest. No telling the cost, or anything about it, only the address. Then at the Preparing Daughters website they recommended this magazine, and at least told how much it cost, etc. Still nothing about the magazine! At this point I'm beginning to wonder. Then at Hidden Wisdom Magazine's website I see a link to hopechestmagazine.com. I was so eager to see your site. As a matter of fact, While the page was still loading I had to get up to use the restroom. I was afraid someone would get on the computer. Sure enough Dad (who knew I'd been on the computer)calls "Hey Mary Beth!" I said "Don't get on the computer!! NO!!" he says "I'm not touching it. I just wondered where you went." I just thought you might get a kick out of my story. Sorry if I bored you. By the way, I think your website is just lovely, and I will probably be subscribing to your magazine soon. Right now I'm saving every spare dollar for BOOKS(I'm a bookworm and a half!) but once I have those books I'll probably be subscribing to several magazines, and HopeChest will be the first one!!
