Autumn 2005

Joyfully announcing the birth of a precious baby brother after a long line of girls! Noah Robert Rainwater was born after a direct prayer of brother Benjamin for a boy. We praise the Lord for his love and grace! Noahs sisters, Miriam, Lily, Sarah, Olivia, and Melody, welcome this blessing. Daddy and Mama (Brian and Angela) are overjoyed and look forward to raising Noah in the way of the Lord. And Noah found favor in the sight of the Lord. Glory to His holy name!

Mark and Ruth Visser announce the birth of their little blessing, Lydia Beth Visser. Lydia was born on September 17, 2004. She weighed 6 lbs. 1 oz. and was 20'' long. Little Lydia was also welcomed by her grandparents Dean and Judy McLaughlin and Samuel and Gail Visser, along with many excited uncles and aunts.

Announcing the birth of Lily Rhea Marie Welch. Although three weeks early, Lily Rhea is a thriving little girl. Daddy (Jeff), Mama (Lori), sisters Amber (15) and Hannah (12), and brother Justus (17 mo.) are delighted to welcome her into the family. Lily arrived on January 20, 2005, weighing 6 lbs. 15 oz. She is so sweet, and we thank God for her every day!

Announcing the adoption of Mason and Hannah from the country of Haiti! After working on the extensive adoption process for over a year, Mason (4) and Hannah (2) were brought to us in May 2005. They have adjusted very well, and they are starting to learn a little English. They are very happy little kids, and we are very thankful to have them as part of our family. Mason and Hannah were welcomed by Dad and Mom, Mary (19), Elizabeth (18), Laura (14) and Jeffrey (4).

Born at home on February 22, 2005, he weighed 8 lb. 6 oz., and was 20 " in length. But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendents shall inherit it. (Num 14:24)

The Lord is good! We are blessed with a new little boy, Isaac Wade Brown. Ike was born June 1, 2005, weighing 8 lb. 9 oz. He was welcomed home by his parents, Rob and Talley Brown and his siblings, Amy (17), RA (15), Griffin (13), Myles (11), Lydia (8) and Amanda (6). Ike definitely does not lack attention! We all love holding and caring for this precious miracle of life. What an amazing Lord we serve!

Winter 2005

Emma Elizabeth Wensing made her much-anticipated arrival on July 17, 2004. She weighed 7lb. 6 oz. and measured 19½". Labor was difficult, ultimately ending in a c-section. However, we praised God for a very healthy and beautiful little girl! We (parents and baby) are learning a lot and savoring each wonderful step along the way. It’s a great joy and honor to be parents and we pray for wisdom to lead Emma in paths of righteousness.

Justice John Forsythe was born on August 7, 2004. He weighed 9 lb. 3 oz. and measured 21¾" long. Justice was welcomed by his parents, Matthew and Annabel, his sisters, Dillon Anne (15), Patience (8), Izanna (4), and Willow (2), and brother, Canaan (11).

Christopher and Laura Pierce are happy to announce the arrival of Emma Michelle on June 6, 2004. She weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. and measured 20.5" in length. Big sister Lauren (2) is also delighted with the baby.

Joyfully announcing the birth of a new Fletcher! Lucas Jay was born on March 18, 2004 and weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. He was welcomed by his papa and mama (Todd and Laura) and big sister Leah (13 months). We are so thankful for this special blessing from the Lord.

Announcing the adoption of Carson Levi and Jaxson Noah Snyder. For a long time, we have been praying and working on the extensive process of adoption. Finally, on April 29, 2004, my mom and dad left for Haiti to pick up our new brothers. We met them at the airport when they returned home on May 6, 2004. What an awesome time! Carson and Jaxson are 5-year old twins and are very sweet. Although they didn’t know much English, they adapted to our family very well. The twins were welcomed by Dan and Gay, Amanda (22), Charlie (20), Emily (20), Bethany (18), Hannah (17), Daniel (15), Eliza (12), Lydia (7), and Cara (3). Daily, we thank God for giving the opportunity to have Carson and Jaxson in our family.

Magdaline Beulah Carmel (6 lbs. 12 oz.) and Evangeline Moriah Eden (7 lbs. 10 oz.) were born at home on September 24, 2003. We were especially excited because they were born on my dad’s 44th birthday! Maggie and Evie were eagerly welcomed by Dad, Mom, me (18), Melissa (11), Jessica (9), Franklin (7). Carolina (4), and Gabriel (2). My two sisters, Melissa and Jessica, and I were thrilled to be able to observe and assist during the twins’ birth. It was so wonderful!

Elise Rose Whitney was born to Mom, Dad, and siblings Cara (16), Marissa (me, 14) Melody (12), Chelsea (10), and Matthew (6) on June 21, 2003. Elise weighed 8 lbs 9 oz, and was 21" long. She is very healthy and a real little blessing! We love her dearly and thank God for His wonderful blessings!

Long-awaited Heather Elisabeth McDaniels arrived on August 11, 2003. Her parents, Chris and Cindy, and her seven siblings joyfully welcomed her. Heather weighed 9 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20" long.

On August 25, 2003, we welcomed Anavah Esther Fairbanks into our home and lives. She weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz. and measured 22" long. Though her heart and lungs momentarily stopped, little Ana is now as healthy as ever. She is cherished by Dad, Mom, four sisters, and five brothers.
